Oriental Valley exquisitely show the new countryside with Oriental characteristics, where there is a slow-paced life with sunrise and sunset, there are lively and noisy village markets, there are pure and cool landscapes and bamboo forests, and there are simple Enthusiastic villagers. The over-all feel to the game is actually really well done. The rendering is solid which surprised me. The game has this nice old Rune Factory feel to it minus the monster hunting. But ultimately it is a really well done farming sim. if you are looking for a chill game to just have fun with. It feels more like a travel game, the scenes are quite beautiful and chilling! Looking forward to seeing what the unlocked maps look like later on. Very chill game. Has a few bugs and translation errors (artefact museum is missing most translations and camera is still completely in Chinese) most bugs can be solved by saving and reloading where you are, you wont lose progress.

The tutorials are quite good at showing what you need to do with most items unlocked via quests/donations or purchasing valuables. This is probably one of the better solo life sim games although it does feel incomplete at times. really like this game so far. It plays very nice and smooth. You can farm, fish, and most importantly, help the villagers. Their quests are always about gathering materials, catching fish, growing vegetables, etc. You also find items you can gift to villagers and they give you these little companions or pets as reward. haven’t enjoyed this type of game for a long time now. but Oriental Valley looks so good and atmospheric. The music is great to keep you going. From what can tell this game has a lot of areas to explore, too, that you will get to gradually as you progress in the story and with your tasks. think this game has hundreds of hours in it. The game seems to have just about the right pacing, the days don’t end too fast. You have an energy bar that limits how many things you can do, but I’m assuming it can be replenished via eating food as I got a cooking station with an absolute truckload.
